Petitioner had been granted parole by the Competent Authority vide order dated 22.12.2025.

The period of such parole is two weeks, which is expiring on 14.01.2026.

Now, the present writ petition has been filed seeking extension of parole for another period of four weeks.

It is submitted that the wife of the petitioner is in advanced stage of pregnancy with her expected date of delivery being 29th instant and there is no one else in the family to take requisite care of her and since the parents of petitioner have already passed away, the parole period may be extended by four weeks.

the petitioner is in family way and is expecting delivery, this month only. 6.
Keeping in mind the overall facts of the case and given that the wife of the petitioner is expecting delivery this month only, the petition is allowed with the direction that the period of parole stands extended by another period of four weeks.

However, the extension would be on the same terms and condition as mentioned in order dated 22.12.2025.
