This is a petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of period of 12 months for mandate of ld. sole Arbitrator.

Justice Manmohan Singh (Retd.) was appointed as ld. sole Arbitrator vide order dated 6th December, 2019. 4.

The matter is at the stage of evidence. Both parties pray for extension to be granted. Accordingly, the mandate of the sole Arbitrator is extended for a period of 12 months. Ld. sole Arbitrator is requested to conclude the proceedings and pass final order before the next date of hearing. 5.

The petition is disposed of.
