This Court is happy to note that after the last date of hearing the Hon'ble Health Minister, GNCTD and the Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, GNCTD have jointly agreed that the Delhi Health Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Bill, as prepared, be forwarded to the Government of India for necessary approval.

They have further agreed that during the interregnum the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010 shall be adopted in the NCT of Delhi in compliance with the letter dated 21st July, 2023 of the Government of India and order dated 30th May, 2022 passed by this Court. 3.

Recording the aforesaid consensual decisions of the Hon'ble Health Minister, GNCTD and the Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, GNCTD, the present writ petition and the contempt petition are closed. 4.

The GNCTD is directed to ensure that the Gazette notification for adoption of the Act of 2010 is issued expeditiously and no later than four weeks.
