The present revision petition is filed under section 25B (8) of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 to impugn the order and judgment dated 15.09.2018 in RC/ARC No.332/2016 passed by the court of Sh. Nipun Awasthi, ACJ-CCJ-ARC, East district, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi. 2.

The petitioner filed an eviction petition under section 14(1)(e) of the Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 bearing RC/ARC no. 332/2016 titled as Ruby Kumari V Ramesh Kapoor in respect of the tenanted premises i.e. first floor of property no. N-35, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-110092. The petitioner being aggrieved filed the present petition.

The petitioner and the respondent stated to have settled their disputes vide Settlement Deed/Consent of the Parties dated 31.07.2024 whereby the respondent has agreed to hand over the possession of the tenanted premises The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. back to the petitioner on or before 31.01.2027. It was also agreed that the petitioner at the time of vacation of the tenanted premises shall pay Rs. 1,00,000/- which was deposited as security amount and Rs.37/- which the respondent has spent on the installation of electricity meter in the property at the time of vacation of the tenanted premises. The other terms and the conditions of the settlement are also mentioned in the Settlement Deed/Consent of the Parties dated 31.07.2024. 4.

In view of the settlement between the parties as recorded in the Settlement Deed/Consent of the Parties dated 31.07.2024, the present petition is disposed of.

The petitioner and the respondent are directed to abide by the terms and conditions of Settlement Deed/ Consent of the Parties dated 31.07.2024. 6.

Let the copy of the Settlement Deed/ Consent of the Parties dated 31.07.2024 be placed on record within 03 days. DR.
