The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued for the formation of a special team from Crime branch or any other olive branch to investigate the matter between the petitioner and respondent nos.6 to 9.

The petitioner alleges that he was engaged to respondent no.6. However, the said engagement has now broken. He alleges that respondent no.6 had joined a gymnasium, where respondent no.9 was an instructor. He alleges that he had found that respondent nos.6 and 9 were in a relationship and he had objected to the same because at the material time, the petitioner was to be engaged to respondent no.6. He states that, thereafter, he had been

intimidated by respondent no.9 and other boys sent by him. The petitioner states that there are several instances where persons had come and beaten him up at the instance of respondent no.9. He states that he made several complaints, however, the police had not acted on the same. 4.

Mr Lao, learned ASC appearing for the State states that the petitioner has not provided any material or details in order to assist the police in taking any appropriate action.

He states that although several complaints have been made, the complaints are lacking any details or any clues as to the persons who have intimidated the petitioner.

He states that on a mere complaint that two boys had come and threatened him, without any other particulars, makes it clearly impossible for the police to make inquiries in this regard. It is also submitted that there is no witness to the said incident and the petitioner did not care to note down the number of the vehicle. 5.

Since, the petitioner had made an allegation against respondent no.9, this Court considers it apposite to direct the concerned SHO to make due inquiries from respondent no.9 and to ascertain the merits of any of the complaints made by the petitioner.

In the event, the petitioner is aggrieved by non-registration of his complaint, the petitioner is at liberty to avail of alternative remedies. This Court does not consider it apposite to issue any further orders. 7.

The petition and the pending application are disposed of. 8.
