This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: "1. Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, directing the Election Commission of India to forthwith register the political party Name Aam Aadmi Party (Revolutionary) under the relevant provisions of Representation of People Act 1951." 4.
