O R D E R

% 05.02.2018 Vide the directions dated 08.01.2018, the applicant was granted interim protection till date with the direction not to leave the city, not to make any contact with the complainant, not to intimidate the witness in any manner and with further directions to the applicant to join the investigation before the Investigating Officer at PS Ranjit Nagar on 05.01.2018 at 2:30 pm.

On behalf of the State the learned APP for State submits as is also submitted through the status report on the record, submitted under the signature of Inspr. Prahlad Singh, SHO, PS Ranjit Nagar to the effect that the applicant did not join the investigation of the case on 05.01.2018 at 2:30 pm and the matter was thereafter deferred to 05.02.2018 after the grant of interim protection and that the applicant till date as per the status report filed on 02.02.2018 did not join the investigation nor was he present at the last available address through notices were issued by the Investigating Officer who visited twice at the property in question i.e. 34, South Patel Nagar, New Delhi for examination of the accused persons, but it was all in vain. On behalf of the applicant it has been submitted that the Investigating

Officer has said that certain quashing petitions are pending and that the applicant would be called for joining the investigation later after 15.02.2018. Taking into account the status report and specific direction dated 8.1.2018 to the effect that the applicant who had to join the investigation which has not been complied with by the applicant thus all interim protections granted to the applicant are withdrawn. The application is dismissed.
