The present application has been filed seeking extension of interim bail in case FIR No. 216/2019 under Sections 364/302/201/120B/34 IPC registered at PS Greater Kailash, which was granted to the petitioner vide order dated 12.12.2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has sought further extension of interim bail on the ground that the petitioner's wife had undergone surgery on 04.01.2024 and the treating doctor has advised post operative care to the petitioner's wife for six months which requires an attendant. 3.

The learned counsel submits that apart from the present petitioner, there is no other male member in the family to look after his wife. 4.

State to file status report verifying the medical record. The status report has been filed, the same is on record.

A perusal of the status report reveals that the petitioner's wife was admitted in the Ekta Hospital on 03.01.2024 where she underwent surgery on 04.01.2023. The medical record has also been verified wherein she has been advised six weeks post operative care.

In view of the above, the interim bail of the petitioner is extended for further four weeks on the same terms and conditions as mentioned in order dated 12.12.2023.

The application stands disposed of.
