The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of petitioner seeking following prayer: "...lssue appropriate writ/s direction of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction in the nature of mandamus read with 151 of Code of Civil Procedure 1908 directing the Respondents for changing the date of birth of the petitioner in Central Board of Secondary Education Secondary School Examination Grade Sheet Cum Certificate with its Registration No. d6l5/65485/0064 with his Roll No. 8187491 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. where the date of birth in the said certificate is mentioned as 20/08/1999 -whereas the actual date of birth is 20/08/1998 and the said mention of the incorrect date„ of birth is„ an inadvertent error which needs to be corrected for the bonafide purpose as the petitioner have to continue his further studies and the incorrected date of birth is adversely effecting his documents..."

Learned counsel for School states that they have handed over all the relevant documents to the concerned Department. 3.
In these circumstances, it is directed that the concerned Department will decide the prayer of the present petitioner and treat the present petition also as an additional representation and carry out the necessary corrections as per rules within a period of one month under intimation to the petitioner herein.
