The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be given to respondent nos.1 to 5 to provide police protection. The present petition was listed on 30.12.2019 in this Court had passed directions for verification qua the factum of marriage between the petitioners and their ages.

This Court had further directed that in the meanwhile, SHO, PS Kalindi Kunj shall provide adequate security to the petitioners and provide them the contact details of the beat constable as well as Station House Officer.

A status report has been filed, which indicates that the fact, that the petitioners were married on 20.11.2019 as per Muslim rites and that they are majors, have been verified. However, it is stated that the petitioners are not

residing at the address provided (C-141, Near Samosa Chowk, Madanpur Khadar). It is stated that the inquiries have revealed that the petitioners are living somewhere in Jasola.

However, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners insists that the petitioners are residing at the address provided. In the given circumstances, this Court considers it apposite to direct the petitioners to appear before the SHO, Kalini Kunj. He shall evaluate their threat perception and provide the petitioners such security, as he considers necessary. 4.

It is stated that in compliance of the order dated 30.12.2019, the petitioners have already been provided the contact details of the beat constable, SHO and Division Officer in order that they can contact them in case of any eventuality.

In case the petitioners make any complaint, the SHO shall ensure that due action is taken in respect of the said complaint in accordance with law. 6.

Insofar as issuing directions to the officials of Bihar police is concerned, this Court does not consider it apposite to issue any such directions.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
