Learned junior standing counsel appearing for the department submits that an email has been received by Mr. Ruchir Bhatia, learned senior standing counsel on 11.03.2026 from the department, intimating therein that the proceedings against the petitioner, impugned in the present writ petition have been dropped/disposed of.

On the basis of statement so made by learned junior standing counsel, it appears that the proceedings against the petitioner have been dropped. 3.
If the proceedings have not been dropped and any adverse order has been passed, the petitioner shall be free to apply for revival of the present writ petition.
