The Petitioner has approached this Court for renewal of the passport. An objection has been taken by the passport authorities that a case is pending against the Petitioner in Kanpur.

It is pertinent to mention here that this Court had suspended the Lookout Circular opened against the Petitioner and permitted the Petitioner to travel with his daughter, who is a cancer patient, for her treatment outside the country. The Petitioner is unable to accompany his daughter for her treatment only because his passport has not been renewed. 3.
In view of the fact that the Petitioner has to obtain a No Objection The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 03/07/2025 at 18:33:16
Certificate (NOC) from the Court in Kanpur and in view of the emergency, the concerned Court is requested to consider the application of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

For all other FIRs in which chargesheets have not been filed, NOC is not required from any court of law. On getting the NOC from the Court in Kanpur, the Respondents are directed to renew the passport to the Petitioner in accordance with law.

Liberty is granted to the Petitioner to approach this Court in case need arises in future.
