1. The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks to assail the order dated 29.11.2023 passed by the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Cell (PITNDPS), Ministry of Finance. Vide the impugned order an order of preventive detention has been passed against the petitioner.
2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now that the Advisory Board constituted under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988 is assembling today for consideration of the petitioner's representation against the impugned order, he may be granted leave to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach the Court again if the need so arises after the Advisory Board gives its findings.
