CRL.M.C. 273/2026 1.

The petitioner herein is the complainant in Complaint Case No.1538/2020, pending before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (NI Act), Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, New Delhi. By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the learned Magistrate to conclude the trial in an expeditious / time-bound manner. 2.

Mr. Ashish K. nonetheless, been granted. He draws my attention to the orders dated 20.05.2025, 21.08.2025, and 12.12.2025, in this regard. 3.

It is also submitted that although the arguments on the petitioner's application under Section 143A of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, were concluded on 25.02.2025, necessary orders have not yet been passed.

After some arguments, Mr. Singh submits that the petitioner may be permitted to approach the learned Magistrate for expeditious disposal of the proceedings. In view of the fact that the learned Magistrate has already directed that no further adjournment should be granted to either party, such a request is accepted.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the learned Magistrate for the aforesaid purpose, and without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner to move this Court again, if the necessity arises.

The petition stands disposed of with liberty as aforesaid.
