This petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "a. Issue a writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, quashing the Impugned Order No.

ESTT/163Bn/Dismiss/2017/10252-62 dated 08.05.2017 passed by the Respondents against the Petitioner;

b. Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondents to reinstate the Petitioner in service, with continuity of service and all consequential benefits, including seniority and pay fixation;" 4.

2025, the petitioner was informed for the first time that his dismissal was illegal and unsustainable in law. If that being the reason for the petitioner to file the petition, we are of the view the same is not appealing and the petition being hit by delay and laches, is required to be dismissed, we order so.
