The petitioner/tenant has assailed eviction order passed by the learned Additional Rent Controller after dismissal of application for leave to contest. After addressing partly, learned counsel for petitioner on instructions of his client submits that the petitioner shall vacate the subject premises on or before 31.12.2024 and till then he may be protected. Learned counsel for respondent/landlord is not averse to the request. Therefore, as requested by both sides, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the directions that operation of the impugned eviction order shall remain stayed till 31.12.2024 and if by that date the petitioner does not vacate the subject premises, the respondent shall be at liberty to get the impugned eviction order executed in accordance with law.
