The petitioner, who is a life convict, presently on furlough and due to surrender on 14.01.2026 at Central Jail No.14, Mandoli, New Delhi, has filed this petition seeking transfer to a semi-open prison. 2.

Mr. Yasir Rauf Ansari, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, upon advance instructions, states that the petitioner's representation has been received, and will be considered in the next meeting of the concerned committee.

In view of the above, Mr. Siddharth Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, does not seek any further orders at this stage. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the above submissions made on behalf of the respondent, reserving the rights and remedies of the petitioner in the event of an adverse order.
