The petition is listed today on an application filed by the writ petitioner for deletion of respondent No. 2, who is stated to have passed away.

The writ petition concerns the grant of family pension in respect of the service of late Mr. Mohd. Tariq in the Delhi Development Authority ["DDA"]. The petitioner claims to be the legal wedded wife of the deceased employee, alongwith the original respondent No. 2. 3.
Learned Standing Counsel for the DDA states that the grievances are amenable to the jurisdiction of the Central Administrative Tribunal ["Tribunal"], as the DDA is a notified entity under Section 19 of the W.P.(C) 370/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Having regard to this submission, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition may be taken on Board and dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to approach the Tribunal. However, he seeks an opportunity to bring the subsequent facts, which are narrated in this application, to the notice of DDA, by way of a representation. 5.
If the representation is filed by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today, DDA is directed to consider the same and take an appropriate decision within a period of eight weeks thereafter. Further clarifications or documents may be called for from the petitioner, if required. In the event the final decision is adverse to the petitioner, she is at liberty to approach the Tribunal.

The writ petition, alongwith the pending applications, is disposed of with these directions.
