ARB.P. 853/2019 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for appointment of an Arbitrator. Ms. Shantha Devi Raman, learned counsel appearing for the respondent on advance notice states, she has no objection for appointment of an Arbitrator subject to the respondent given liberty to take all objections as available to the respondent both on facts and in law. Noting the said submission, this court deems it appropriate to appoint Justice Anil Kumar Pathak, a retired Judge of this Court as a Sole Arbitrator who shall adjudicate the disputes and differences between the parties. The

appointment of the Arbitrator shall be regulated by the Rules of DIAC. Let a copy of this order be sent to Justice Anil Kumar Pathak for information. Liberty is with the counsels for the parties to appear before Justice Pathak for a preliminary hearing after taking prior appointment on his mobile number (9910384602).

Petition stands disposed of.
