The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (Cr.P.C.) impugning the order dated 18.12.2023 passed by the Respondent rejecting the Petitioner's application seeking grant of parole. 2.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that during the pendency of this petition, the Petitioner has been granted furlough by the competent authority during May, 2024 and November, 2024. 2.1 He states that Petitioner's conviction year began on 01.07.2024 and he was granted the 1st spell of furlough for three (3) weeks from 26.11.2024 to 17.12.2024.

of the petition, the Petitioner would be satisfied if he is granted of 2nd spell of furlough for a period of two (2) weeks by this Court. 3.

Learned ASC states that the submissions of the Petitioner are borne out from the Nominal Roll.

This Court has perused the Nominal Roll dated 13.02.2025, which records that the Petitioner's conduct is satisfactory. 5.

Accordingly, Petitioner is hereby granted the 2nd spell of furlough for a period of two (2) weeks for the conviction year beginning on 01.07.2024 on the same terms and conditions on which furlough was granted to the Petitioner herein by the competent authorityin November, 2024, i.e., 26.11.2024 to 17.12.2024.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of along with pending application if any.

Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Authorities for information and necessary compliance.
