The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no.1 to 3 to provide adequate protection to the petitioners.

It is averred in the present petition that the petitioners are in a consensual marital relationship with each other. It is further averred that they fear for their lives and liberty in view of threats issued by the family members of petitioner no.2.

Petitioner no.1 had filed a petition seeking writ of habeas corpus (W.P.(Crl.) 1879/2019) alleging that petitioner no.2 had been illegally detained against her will, under the instructions of respondent nos. 5 and 6 (chacha and bua) of petitioner no.2. This Court had not entertained the said
writ petition as it was noted that petitioner no.2 had voluntarily left with her parents and the same was reflected in the order dated 22.10.2019 passed by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.

The petitioners are present in Court and state that they are living together in Munirka, Delhi, that is, within the jurisdiction of PS Kishangarh. 5.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has also drawn the attention of this Court to the order dated 13.08.2019 passed by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, wherein she had expressed her willingness to live with petitioner no.1 (petitioner in that case). 6.
In view of the above, this Court considers it apposite to direct the petitioners to appear before the SHO, PS Kishangarh. He shall evaluate the threat perception and provide them such security as he considers necessary. He shall also provide the telephone numbers of the beat staff in order to enable the petitioners to contact them in case of any eventuality. 7.
No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. 8.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The applications are also disposed of.
