% 27.01.2026 Pursuant to last order dated 14.01.2025, Mr. Akhand Pratap Singh learned SPP has handed-up a copy of Status Report dated 27.01.2026. The same is taken on record.

The status report records, that the medical documents filed by the petitioner in support of the present petition have been verified by the attending doctor at the P.L. Sharma District Hospital, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The doctor has further stated, that after being admitted in emergency on 11.01.2026, the petitioner's wife was discharged on 19.01.2026 and her condition is "normal (not Serious)". 3.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has also handed-up a copy of OPD Prescription dated 24.01.2026, which shows that the petitioner's wife is now on oral medication for 05 days. submits however, that there is no one at home to look-after the wife during the period of her recuperation; and that therefore, his interim bail be extended for 03 weeks. OPD record dated 24.01.2026 is also taken on record.

The petitioner was granted interim bail vidé order dated 09.12.2025 by the learned trial court, which was subsequently extended vidé order dated 07.01.2026 by another 01 week.

However, considering the circumstances obtaining in the matter, and based on what is recorded in the OPD Record dated 24.01.2026 and Status Report dated 27.01.2026, this court is not inclined to extend the interim bail granted by the learned trial court vidé order dated 09.12.2025, any further.

However, as prayed-for, the petitioner is granted 05 days' time from today to surrender back to custody.

The petition is disposed-of in the above terms. 8.
