Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 63/2017 dated 01.04.2017 registered at Police Station South Rohini for commission of offence under Section 498A IPC on the basis of amicable settlement with respondent No. 2. 2.

Fact, however, remains that respondent No. 2 has not been appearing before this Court for last more than two years. It goes to give an impression that perhaps she is not interested in settling the matter with petitioner herein. 3.

Be that as it may, learned counsel for petitioner, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, seeks to withdraw the present petition at this juncture with liberty file the petition afresh if need so arises. 4.

In view of the above, present petition is disposed of as not pressed. 5.

Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
