O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 529/2019 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for the Arbitral Tribunal to complete the proceedings and render the award. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent on advance notice has given her consent for the extension.
Earlier, the petitioner had approached this court and this court vide order dated July 2, 2019 granted six month's time for the Arbitral Tribunal to complete the proceedings and render the award. For the reasons stated in the petition and learned counsel appearing
for the respondent has given her consent, the time for the Arbitral Tribunal to complete the proceedings and render the award is extended by a period of six months w.e.f December 23, 2019.
The petition stands disposed of.
