This petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:
"In the facts and circumstances stated above, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to:- (i) Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to restore 49 posts of Sub-Inspector/Education & Stress Counsellor and 3 posts of Inspector/Education & Stress Counsellor abolished in the Third Cadre Review/Restructuring of Group B & C of General Duty (GD) and Non-General Duty Cadres of Indo Tibetan Border Police ;
(ii) Pass any such other order as it may deem fit to this Hon'ble Court in the facts and circumstances of the case." 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents on instructions agree to dispose of the petition as a representation within 12 weeks as an outer limit.

Noting the said submission, the petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the petition as a representation and decide the same within a period of 12 weeks as an outer limit. 5.
One of the petitioners, who shall represent other petitioners as well, shall make a request to the authority to give personal hearing, which shall be considered by the authority.
