The petitioners vide the present petitions under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure, 1973 seek quashing of cross FIRs No. 561/2023 dated 31.10.2023 and 563/2023 31.10.2023 registered under Sections 307/34 IPC & 308/34 IPC, registered at P.S. Sarita Vihar, New Delhi and all proceeding emanating therefrom in view of the Settlement arrived at between the parties. 2.

Settlement inter se the parties. It is stated that the parties were all neighbours and had a fight over playing badminton in street in front of their houses. It was a free fight which took place spontaneously and there were injuries sustained by the injured persons which were essentially inflicted by sticks and rods. The parties have amicably settled all their disputes vide MOU dated 01.01.2024. The parties endorse the terms of the Settlement dated 01.01.2024 and undertakes to remain bound by the terms of Settlement.

The parties are present before this Court in person today, and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. 4.

Today, the complainants who are present in Court state that they have no objection if the FIR is quashed.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion and also the fact that the present matter is a neighbourhood matter it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIRs in question.

Accordingly cross FIRs No.561/2023 dated 31.10.2023 and 563/2023 dated 31.10.2023 registered under Sections 307/34 IPC & 308/34 IPC respectively, registered at P.S. Sarita Vihar, New Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The petitions stand disposed of.
