The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing no. 446/2018, under Sections 354/323/509/341/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) registered with Police Station Vasant Kunj, North, be quashed.

The said FIR has been registered at the instance of respondent no.2. 3.
The petitioners are present in Court and is identified by his counsel. Respondent no.2 also present in Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer.

Respondent no.2 had reported the incident alleging that the petitioners had outraged her modesty. They had also beaten her and physically assaulted persons (her friends), who had come forward to save her from them.

Respondent no.2 states that she does not wish to pursue her complaint against the petitioners. She states that she has resolved her differences with the petitioners.

The petitioners are also present in Court and states that they have entered into a compromise with respondent no.2 and have no grievance against her.

In view of the aforesaid statements, this Court considers it apposite to quash the FIR and all proceedings emanating therefrom, albeit, subject to the following conditions:
(a) The petitioners shall deposit a sum of ₹25,000/- each with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee.
(b)The petitioners shall not enter the precincts of Jawahar Lal Nehru University again.

It is clarified that if the petitioners violate the said order and are found in the precincts of the University, the Police Authorities shall revive this FIR and take necessary action against them.
