Present petition is taken up on mentioning by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State, who has produced status report dated 18.01.2024. It is stated therein that a FIR No.16/2024 had been registered at police station Bharat Nagar, Delhi for the offence punishable under Section 363 IPC and the missing girl, who is 15 years old, has already been rescued.

The missing girl is also present in Court. We are apprised that after recording the statement of the missing girl under Section 164 Cr.P.C., her custody has already been handed over to her mother i.e. petitioner herein, by CWC vide order dated 17.01.2024.
