At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the matter has been amicably settled before the Saket Mediation Centre and in terms of the settlement, payment has been made and the suit, as such, has also been withdrawn by the plaintiff (respondent herein) and, therefore, there is nothing left for adjudication in the present matter. 2.

In view of the fact that the matter has been amicably settled and even the suit which had been filed by the respondent has been withdrawn in terms of the settlement, the present petition has virtually become infructuous.

The petition stands disposed of in view of the aforesaid development and settlement between the parties.
