This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing the petition under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (for short „1996 Act‟).

Even according to the counsel for the applicant/petitioner, though the award dated 13.3.2018 was received on the same date, the petition under Section 34 of the 1996 Act was filed only on 15.12.2018. 4.
Clearly, the petition has been filed beyond the period prescribed under Section 34(3) of the 1996 Act.

In these circumstances, the delay cannot be condoned. 6.
The application is, accordingly, dismissed.
