By this Application, Petitioner No.1 is seeking preponement of hearing in the Petition.

It is submitted that the present Petition is listed for 23.04.2025 whereby quashing of FIR No.116/2018, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, registered at Police Statin Khanjhawala, Delhi is sought by the Petitioner on the basis of Settlement reached with Respondent No.2, who is the Complainant of the FIR in question.

It is submitted that the subject matter of this FIR stands amicably resolved in terms of Settlement Deed dated 20.11.2023, terms whereof have been complied with by the parties and their marriage has been dissolved by Decree Of Divorce dated 04.06.2024. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

It is submitted that Petitioner No.1 has re-marriage prospects in March, 2025 itself and pendency of the FIR may hamper his future prospects.

In view of the above, the application is allowed and the main Petition is taken up for hearing today itself. 8.

The Application is disposed of CRL.M.C. 195/2025 & Crl.M.A. 1016/2025 9.

The present Petition under Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the Petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.116/2018, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Khanjhawala, Delhi at the instance of Respondent No.2.

It is submitted that marriage of Petitioner No.1-huband was solemnized with Respondent No.2-wife on 17.04.2016. Petitioners No.2 to 3 are the Father-in-law, Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law of Respondent No.2.

It is submitted that the matrimonial disputes between Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2 have been amicably resolved in terms of Settlement-Agreement dated 20.11.2023 arrived through Mediation Centre, Rohini District Court Delhi and Decree of Divorce has been granted by the learned Family Court on 04.06.2024. 12.

were recorded, wherein they had stated that the terms of the Settlement dated 20.02.2025 have been complied with and no grievance survives against each other. Respondent No.2 had also stated that she does not want to pursue the FIR in question against the Petitioners and the same be quashed.

In view of the above, FIR No.116/2018, under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Khanjhawala, Delhi against the Petitioners and proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. 14.

The present Petition and pending Application are accordingly disposed of.
