The present petition was disposed of by an order dated 19.07.2024 taking note of the affidavit dated 15.07.2024 filed by respondent no.3. It is, inter alia, affirmed that the work is in progress and scheduled date for completion of work is 13.04.2025. MCD has since filed the status report further stating as under:- 3.That for subject road, the estimate has been prepared and Administrative Approval has been sanctioned by the Ld. Commissioner MCD and the work has been awarded to the contractor M/s Rajender Kumar Gupta vide work order [W.O.No.EE M-Shahdara South-III/SYS/2024-25/19 dated 04.07.2024.

4. That, at present the work is in progress by the contractor, and about 70% work has been completed at site and balance work will be completed within the stipulated time of completion of work i.e. 13.04.2025. Photographs of the present status of work are enclosed as Annexure 'A'. 2.

The MCD has also enclosed photographs of the road being constructed.
