This writ petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "i. Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of Mandamus, or any other appropriate writ as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit, directing the Respondent No 2, to furnish the sealing order dated 18.08.2009, pertaining to the property bearing number J-12/26, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi, AND/OR ii. Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of Mandamus, or any other appropriate writ as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit, directing the Respondent No 2 to furnish detailed status report, indicating the present status of the property bearing number J-12/26, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi, AND/OR iii.
Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of Mandamus, or any other appropriate writ as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit, directing the Respondent No 1 & Respondent No 2 to take appropriate action in case of misuse of the said property bearing number J-12/26, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi, AND/OR W.P.(C) 472/2025 Page 1 of 2 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
iv. Issue directions to the Respondent No 1 & Respondent No 2 to maintain the status of the said property, in view of the sealing order dated 18.08.2009."

At the outset, learned counsel for Respondent No.2/MCD, who appears on advance copy of the writ petition, submits that efforts are being made to trace out the file containing the sealing order dated 18.08.2009. 3.
Without entering into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to MCD to trace out the file and forward the sealing order dated 18.08.2009 to the Petitioner. In case the file is untraceable, communication to that effect will be sent to the Petitioner, who will be at liberty to take recourse to legal remedies with respect to all reliefs claimed in the present writ petition.
