The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning an order dated 13.11.2019 passed by the respondent rejecting the petitioner's application for parole.

A reading of the impugned order indicates that the petitioner's application has been rejected in view of the Proviso to Sub-rule (8) of Rule 1213 of the Delhi Prison Rules, 2018 which stipulates that in case the petitioner is eligible for furlough, then his release on furlough would be considered before forwarding his application for parole. 3.

The nominal roll indicates that the petitioner has been granted three weeks' parole by an order dated 21.08.2019, which has not been availed of by him as yet.

In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity with the aforesaid order.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
