This writ petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India read with Section 445 Cr.P.C. and Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of order dated 21.11.2023 and for modification of the order dated 07.08.2023 so as to release the Petitioner upon furnishing one surety and personal bond instead of two sureties as directed by the order dated 07.08.2023.

Time was sought by the learned ASC to come back with instructions. Learned ASC hands over the status report dated 17.01.2024 which is taken on record. It is stated in paragraph 6 of the report that on 15.01.2024, Petitioner has been released on furlough for two weeks after furnishing two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- each along with a personal bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. 3.
In view of this development, learned counsel for the Petitioner does not press the present petition and the same is disposed of as not pressed.
