The present writ petition has been filed seeking quashing of the vacation notice dated 10th December, 2025 passed by the respondent/MCD in respect of property bearing No. 270, Shop No. 6. Village Dhakka, Parmanand Chowk, Kingsway Camp, Delhi-110009. 2.

Mr. Kapil Dutta, counsel appearing for respondent/MCD has drawn attention of the Court to the order dated 5th January, 2026 in W.P.(C) 7/2026 titled as Prem Bawa & Anr. V. Municipal Corporation of Delhi & Anr., wherein similar relief is sought by the petitioner in respect of the property in the same compound.

In the said order, status quo order passed earlier was directed to be continued for two (2) weeks so as to enable the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

case that status quo shall prevail for a period of two (2) weeks during which the petitioner shall take appropriate steps in accordance with law. 5.

In terms of the aforesaid, the present petition along with the pending application stands disposed of.

It is made clear that no observation with regard to the merits of the matter have been made by this Court.
