This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.0079/2021 registered at Police Station: Vikaspuri, West, Delhi under Sections 406/498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short, 'IPC'). 2.
The parties have entered into a settlement and have executed a Settlement Deed dated 16.07.2022, recording the terms thereof. 3.
The respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been duly identified by the IO. She submits that the dispute between the parties has been settled and she does not wish the criminal proceedings be continued any further. 4.
Keeping in view the above and the principles laid down by the Supreme Court in Gian Singh v. State of Punjab, (2012) 10 SCC 303 and Jitendra Raghuvanshi v. Babita Raghuvanshi, (2013) 4 SCC 58, the FIR No.0079/2021 registered at Police Station: Vikaspuri, West, Delhi under Sections 406/498A/34 of IPC and all the proceedings emanating therefrom The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
