The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner be released on bail in FIR No. 228/2018 under Sections 498A/306/497 of the IPC registered with PS Aman Vihar. 2.
The learned counsel for the parties state that recording of the prosecution evidence has been completed and the matter is now listed on 07.02.2020 before the Trial Court for recording of the statement of accused (the petitioner).

Considering the stage of the proceedings, this Court does not consider it apposite to allow the present petition.

However, this Court considers it apposite to request the Trial Court to complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible and preferably, within a period of eight weeks from today.

The petitioner is at liberty to apply afresh, if the matter is not finally
decided within a period of eight weeks from today. 6.
