This is a petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator. 4.

The dispute in the present matter pertains to non-payment of dues by the Respondent for transportation of security paper/other, material/machine, consignments from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (NHVA-SHEVA)/various DGS&D godowns/ports at Mumbai.

It is noticed from the petition that the Petitioner's claim is for a sum of only Rs.3,02,432/-. Arbitral proceedings are at the final stage. Accordingly, the mandate is extended by six months. 6.
