The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no.1 to protect the life and property of the petitioners.

The petitioners claim that they have married against the wishes of the family members of petitioner no.1.

It is stated that since the family members of petitioner no.1, in particular respondent nos.2 to 4, are dissatisfied with their marriage; the petitioners apprehend harm at their

hands.

The learned counsel appearing for the State states that the petitioners are not residing at the address given above.

In the aforesaid circumstances, this Court considers it apposite to direct the petitioners to appear before the concerned SHO (SHO, PS Maidan Garhi). He shall evaluate the threat perception and if found necessary, take such steps as are essential to protect the petitioners from any harm. 6.
