The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C') has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari setting aside order no. F.18/102/2003-HOME(G)/PTV/2021/1709-1710 dated 22.11.2021 passed by the respondents rejecting the premature release of the petitioner and; or issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to premature release the petitioner. 2.

Learned ASC appearing on behalf of the State submits that the matter may be remanded back to the concerned authorities to consider afresh as the next Sentence Review Board Meeting ('SRB Meeting') is scheduled to take place soon.
