By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of six months for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 01.11.2024.

Issue notice.

Learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondents on advance copy, accepts notice and submits that the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by another period of nine months w.e.f 01.11.2024. from today. It is further observed that any proceedings conducted after the last mandate expired, shall also stand validated and regularised. 7.
