The learned Standing Counsel has handed over a copy of the Status Report dated 25.02.2026 detailing the various efforts that have been made to trace out the missing person.

Till now the whereabouts of the missing person could not be traced. The learned Standing Counsel submits that as the whereabouts of the missing person could not be traced, an FIR shall be registered and further efforts shall be continued to be made to trace out the missing person.

missing person. The respondent shall file periodical reports of the efforts made before the concerned Magistrate, on a bi-monthly basis. Copies of these reports shall also be supplied to the petitioner. 4.
