% 12.02.2020 1.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the respondent be directed to release the petitioner on parole for a period of three months.

2.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent points out that the petitioner's application for parole had been accepted and by an order dated 17.12.2019, the competent authority had granted the petitioner parole for four weeks. However, the petitioner had not availed of the same. 3.

The nominal roll had also been filed which indicates the above. 4.

In view of the above, the petitioner's grievance does not survive. 5.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
