The instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking the following reliefs: "(A) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing and setting aside order dated 05.12.2024 passed by the Ld. DRAT, New Delhi in Interlocutory Application No. 1092 of 2024 in Misc. Appeal No. 21 of 2024;

(B) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the Ld. DRAT, New Delhi to expedite the proceedings under Misc. Appeal No. 21 of 2024;

(C) Pending the hearing and final disposal of this Petition, this The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Hon'ble Court be pleased to grant stay of proceedings in Original Application No. 925 of 2021 pending before the Ld. DRT-III, New Delhi;

(D) Pending the hearing and final disposal of Misc. Appeal No. 21 of 2024, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to grant stay of proceedings in Original Application No. 925 of 2021 pending before the Ld. DRT-III, New Delhi;

(E) Ad-interim orders in terms of prayers (A), (B), (C), (D) above;

(F) For costs of the petition and orders thereon; and (G) Issue such other writ, direction or order which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the present case."

Mr. Jayant Mehta, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that if the appeal bearing Misc. Appeal No. 21 of 2024 is not decided in the month of January, it shall become infructuous. Therefore, he prayed that the learned DRAT may be directed to expedite the hearing of the said appeal and dispose of the same, expeditiously. 3.

Mr. Rajeev Saxena, learned counsel for the respondent appearing on advance notice has no objection for the expeditious disposal of the aforesaid pending appeal.

Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties and perused the records.

Taking into consideration the contention made by learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that if the matter shall not be heard and decided in the month of January, the appeal shall become infructuous, it is requested that the learned DRAT shall hear and decide the Misc. Appeal No. 21 of 2024 expeditiously, preferably within two weeks. 6.
