The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that proceedings pending before the learned ASJ, Special Judge, Patiala House Courts in SC No.477/2018 captioned 'State v. Digvijay Saroha and Ors.' in connection with FIR No.252/2018 registered with PS Alipur, be expedited. The petitioner states that he had been arrested over one and a half years ago and as of date, the decision on charge has yet not been rendered. The petitioner had filed an application seeking discharge, which was partly heard on 13.02.2019. However, the matter is pending since then. He further states

that the matter is now listed for further arguments on the question of framing of charge on 19.12.2019.

In view of the above, the trial court is requested to expedite the proceedings. The matter relating to the petitioner's application for discharge and the order on charges be concluded preferably within a period of two months from today.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 5.

Order dasti under signatures of the Court Master. 6.

The Registry is directed to forward a copy of this order to the concerned Court.
