By way of the present petition, the petitioner challenges the Order dated 08.01.2025 passed by the respondent no. 3, rejecting the request of the petitioner for voluntary retirement on the ground that the petitioner does not fall within the priority list. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by a subsequent order bearing no. 56/Misc/Estt-2024/BSF/930-52 dated 15.01.2025, further instructions have been issued by the Department of Personnel, Border Security Force, for considering the applications for voluntary retirement. He prays that the respondents may reconsider the case of the petitioner in terms of the said order. 3.
