Learned Addl. P.P. submits that five, out of eight public witnesses, have already entered into witness-box and four witnesses have already been discharged after due cross-examination. It is submitted that one public witness is still under cross-examination and the next date before the learned Trial Court is stated to be 05.02.2026.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for applicant, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, submits that he does not press the present application at this stage but once the cross-examination of aforesaid public witness or any other material public witness is completed, he may be given liberty to file application seeking bail on medical grounds or for that matter seeking regular bail.
