The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No.959/2014 under Sections 420/468/471/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) registered at P.S. Tilak Nagar be quashed. 2.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2 (Sh. Chander Prakash). Respondent no.2 alleged that the petitioner had defrauded him to the tune of ₹30 lakhs by selling an immovable property bearing No. B-62 situated at Kirpal CGHS Limited, Plot No. 44, Kirpal Apartments, I.P. Extension, Patparganj, Delhi - 110092. It is alleged that the said property was already mortgaged prior to its sale to respondent no. 2. 3.

The petitioners and respondent no.2 are present in Court. They state that after some negotiations, the said parties have arrived at an amicable settlement before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts. The said

settlement was reduced into writing on 21.10.2014. 4.

The petitioners are identified by their counsel and respondent no.2 is identified by the Investigating Officer. Respondent no.2 states that he has no grievance against the petitioners as all his disputes with the petitioners have been settled. He further states that he has also received the consideration as agreed upon in terms of the settlement arrived at with the petitioners. He states that he does not wish to pursue the FIR in question and joins the petitioners in requesting that the present FIR be quashed. 5.

In view of the statements made by the petitioners and respondent no.2, FIR No.959/2014 under Sections 420/468/471/34 of the IPC registered at P.S. Tilak Nagar all proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed. 6.

The petitioners and respondent no.2 shall sign this order as an acknowledgment of the statement recorded herein. 7.
