The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to demolish illegal and unauthorized construction of Jhuggis at Ghazipur Dairy Farm, and removal of encroachment of 2000 sq. metre of land on the bank of the big drain in front of B-Block, Street No. 3, Ghazipur Dairy Farm.

It is stated that the petitioner is a resident of Jhuggi No. 20, CN 18, Ghazipur Dairy Farm, Delhi 110096, and is suffering due to illegal and unauthorized construction in question.

It is the contention of the petitioner that these constructions have not been sanctioned by the concerned municipal authorities and are in the nature of encroachment of the public land.

It is further stated that the residents of the aforesaid unauthorised Jhuggis are illegal immigrants and are involved in illegal activities with the connivance of respondents no. 1 and 2.

It is stated that various complaints have been made by the petitioner to the respondents, however, no action has been taken against the aforesaid unauthorised construction.

Issue notice.

Notice is accepted by counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents. 8.
Having heard counsel for the parties, it is directed that respondent no. 2/ DUSIB shall treat the present writ petition as a representation made by the petitioner and shall examine the grievances raised therein and dispose of the representation by way of a reasoned order and take appropriate action in accordance with law, as may be warranted.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 10.
A compliance affidavit shall be filed by respondent no. 2/DUSIB within twelve (12) weeks from today.
